Among our programs, the RedRover Relief Safe Escape grant program helps families by covering boarding costs for their beloved pets while they are residing in a shelter, keeping families together.

You see, survivors of DV face heartbreaking choices when fleeing danger. If they have pets, leaving them behind can be devastating – but many DV shelters still can't keep pets on their property unattended while survivors go to work or seek supportive services. This barrier can force survivors into an impossible choice: seek safety without their pets, or stay in danger to keep their beloved pet and cherished member of their family.

The RedRover Relief Safe Escape grant program helps survivors and pets flee abuse and in times of crisis, ensuring they can seek safety and heal...together.
